Workshop on Future Scenarios for New England

On October 26-28, Jaclyn attended a training and planning workshop for the NSF Research Coordination Network S3: Scenarios, Services, and Society at the Migis Lodge on Lake Sebago in Maine. The workshop started off with a 1-day training session on Stakeholder Engagement, Participatory Research, and Actionable Science led by the Consensus Building Institute. The second and third days of the workshop continued with presentations and discussions with researchers, practitioners, and stakeholders with the goal of developing and understanding future scenarios of land-use and climate change impacts in New England. Many thanks to the organizers from Harvard Forest and U Maine who made this an enjoyable and successful event!
